• Example sentence: NY officials rescind mandatory H1N1 flu shot order. • What I was doing wrong? : Before i came across this word, most probably i would have used 'canceled' which is partially correct but until i came to knew the meaning of this word I was not able to understand the meaning of example sentence given above, when i read it on Google news on Oct 23, 2009.Friday, October 23, 2009
